getting involved.

haha self-directed CIP that is. in the comfort of air-conditioning, i wouldnt mind doing 100hrs of straightening and shelf-reading. library lingo lahh. just fingers making contact with the grainy fibres, doesnt require much brainwork to arrange 301.229 to 362.999. haha i wonder how much do librarians earn. could there actually be some diploma in shelving? :D

anyway the interesting part of it all was the discovery i made. at first assigned to computers and IT section, sorry not of much appeal. then reference. the bindings of the books there were damn thick, needed the help of ten fingers. volumes of laws, history stuff and haha encyclopedia of rock stars. no kidding. wad caught my eye: two words. olympics. singapore. quickly scanning the subtitle, records of atheletics... interviews... photos... 19..-2004. (: gleefully i found the name of that sport in the content page and today is R.S.'s birthday! haha had to share my excitement so skipped over to geri.

later, at young adults non-fiction. whoa, a pink book on 'how to speak fluent lovey-dovey...' shared my amusement with la. apparently terms of endearment around the world included: mon petit chou (my little cabbage), ma puce (my flea) and el salvador lovers call each other gordita (fatty). hahaha!

oh where art thou mon petit chou ?

:D :D

You're so lucky to have this group of friends. Not only do you know how to have the silliest, best kind of fun, but you can really talk to each other about the stuff that matters.
